Lena was interested in improving her smile. She had realized throughout the years that her front teeth were getting thinner with the enamel surface thinning out and the edges chipping away. Her teeth were losing its volume of enamel surface. In effect, as the enamel thins out the underlying layer of dentin begins to reflect through the thinner enamel layer. Since dentin is very yellow in color Lenas teeth looked darker and darker every year. Unfortunately, this is not amenable to bleaching; in addition, the enamel needs reinforcement since it keeps the teeth stable and strong. Lena was blessed with a beautiful jaw arch and perfect symmetry of her gum levels. This made the porcelain laminate process a smooth one. Our cosmetic process for Lena included 10 veneers of her upper front teeth.
