Rosa’s smile makeover was rather unique. Due to her grinding habits her bite had started to collapse.  She had dental work that was done at different times in her life. As a consequence, one of the issues that had to be addressed was the fact that all the porcelain work that was done in the past did not match.  It was simply a patchwork of different shades.  Our plan for Rosa consisted of re-establishing how her teeth meet each other at a more favorable position.  This allows us to achieve a better interdigitation of teeth for a balanced biting position. Since her teeth had worn away and looked too small for her features we created larger, more ideal sized teeth to improve the overall esthetics.  We did all this with a combination of caps and veneers on all her upper teeth. Rosa’s lower front teeth were also severely worn.  We placed 10 porcelain veneers on the lower teeth.
