As a performer, Mark was very conscious of the chip in his front tooth. He could see that it affected his professional life, and he was afraid to open his mouth wide while hitting high notes, or even smiling in pictures. He was also aware that he had a grinding problem and that his bite was not aligned. At first, he was apprehensive about doing anything about these problems because, as a performer, he wanted to maintain his smile. Following our recommendations, he accepted Invisalign to correct his bite because it remained invisible during treatment. But the idea of veneers took some getting used to. However, this was the main concern that had driven Mark to our office and, by the time his temporary acrylic veneers were placed on his two front teeth, he didn't want to take them out; he felt they looked fantastic! Mark was so happy with the outcome of the Invisalign and the two permanent porcelain veneers that his confidence has skyrocketed. While others have also noticed the improvement, the most important thing is that Mark now feels he can sing better than ever, without being afraid to open his mouth or shying away from photos. He constantly reminds himself that it's okay to smile now. I am so happy that I came to NYC Smile Design. Everyone treated me like family, and I never felt like I was just another patient. The quality of the work was that of true dental artistry. Now you can hear Mark sing and see him smile as an onstage regular at Joe's Pub in NYC.
