Brandie never liked her smile. With an outgoing personality and a cheerful disposition; her smile held her back. Brandie's upper jaw is very narrow which gave her a rabbit look, protruding her front teeth too far forward. Brandie also has hypocalcification of her teeth. This is a condition that affects the hard outer covering of teeth (enamel) making them porous and opaque in color. Also, the enamel surface is more prone to fracturing and rapid wear. A porcelain veneer is an excellent option since it protects the enamel from further breakdown. For Brandie we decided to place 8 veneers on the top and 8 veneers on the bottom to expand her arch and permanently brighten them. In the future Brandie would like to add 2 more veneers to the upper to fill and expand her smile. Brandie was so ecstatic with the outcome that her comment was, "had I known what my smile could look like I would have taken 3 jobs so I could have this done years ago".
