Sarah had previously had Porcelain Veneers placed on her front 4 teeth which were about 10 years old.  Functionally the Veneers were doing well however, esthetically they looked very dull and opaque in color.  Additionally, the older veneers had abraded the enamel on the lower teeth quite extensively; reason being that the older porcelain systems was too rough and acted like sand paper against natural teeth and as a result it would basically rub away the enamel.  Our plan for Sarah included re-positioning the gum levels on the upper front 4 teeth and placement of 8 porcelain veneers on the upper arch and 6 on the lower arch. Traveling from far distance was a burden but the final result made it all worth the effort.
