Dr. Ramin Tabib Cosmetic Dentist

"Monsieur Bon Vivant”

Dr. Ramin Tabib is one of the most innovative dentists in New York City dedicated to achieving the best, healthiest, and most beautiful smiles for his patients. Not only is he committed to the highest level of dentistry, but he has dedicated his life to mastering the latest in dental technology.

After receiving a B.A degree in biology at State University of New York, Binghamton, Dr. Tabib attended the Columbia University College of Dental Surgery, receiving his DDS degree in 1991.

Dr. Tabib has received extensive training in the diagnosis and placement of dental implants at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute, Pittsburgh, and at New York University's Implantology program. Additionally, he has achieved Fellowship status in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, an honor only a handful of dentists worldwide have achieved. He has further added to his skills in physiologic dentistry, and has studied with some of the most progressive clinicians in this field. He has completed advanced training in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, pain control, and anesthesia as well.

One of the Most Innovative Dentists in New York City. Or Anywhere.

Dr. Tabib’s philosophy is that the first step in achieving optimal personal health is maintaining a healthy mouth. Because he believes that his patients benefit by being fully integrated into the NYC Smile Design family, he pursues excellence to assure that everyone who walks through the doors of his office will receive excellent care. He achieves his goal by creating innovative ways for his patients to get the latest news on maintaining their oral health, and by providing them with access to products that assure they have the best tools to do so.

In the office, Dr. Tabib is the motivator, with the gift of being able to influence others in positive ways. He is constantly inspiring his team to do better, fully understanding that a healthy and happy team makes for a better and more welcoming working environment. He is a born adventurer, and this is reflected in his many interests: He is actually our resident DJ! When you come to our office, you will truly appreciate his love for music as you listen to Paul Motian, Thelonius Monk, Ella Fitzgerald, Joao Gilberto, Dexter Gordon, Thomas Dybdahl, and Astor Piazzolla, or even Georg Telemann.

Dr. Tabib, who also enjoys running, and skiing, is a student of life as well. He is constantly learning, and researching different topics, especially those that relate to helping us achieve optimal health, and having that improve our everyday life. He is passionate about cooking, photography and learning to play the acoustic guitar. He is also a collector of fine wine.
