After receiving a degree in biology at State University
of New York (Binghamton), Dr. Ramin Tabib attended the
Columbia University College of Dental Surgery and received
his DDS degree in 1991.
Highly-committed to mastery in the latest in dental innovations, Dr. Tabib has
received extensive training in the diagnosis and placement of dental implants
at the prestigious Misch Implant Institute (Pittsburgh) and through New York
University's Implantology program. Additionally, he has achieved Fellowship status
in the International Congress of Oral Implantology, an honor only a handful of
dentists worldwide have achieved. He has further added to his skills in facially
generated treatment planning and occlusion through the Seattle Institute Advanced
Dental Studies program. He has completed training in oral and maxillofacial surgery,
dental emergencies and trauma, cosmetic and restorative dentistry, pain control
and anesthesia as well.
Professional memberships include the International Congress of Oral Implantology,
the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, American Dental Association,
Academy of General Dentistry, and the First District Dental Society. American
Academy of Implant Dentistry, American College of Implantology.
In addition
to private practice, Dr. Tabib is a Faculty member of NYU College of Dentistry
and teaches in the Advanced Program in Esthetic Dentistry.
